Weaving the field with Patrizia Polese
The appointment with weaving inside Villa Tiepolo Passi aims to bring people closer to this ancient art.
Guided by the experience of the textile artist Patrizia Polese, the guest will be able to learn the main textile techniques in a simple and relaxing way, remaining in the field of weaving or using it only as an initial pretext. The unique and immersive experience in the surrounding architectural and natural environment will be an inspiration for the creation of the final product, a small tapestry to take home.
The course includes the extension of the activity in the afternoon.
Patrizia Polese
After a long experience in the field of restoration (Milan-Venice 1993-97), she graduated from the School of Applied Arts of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, specializing in the art of weaving (1995).
She regularly exhibits her works in solo and group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
Materials
Supplied by the course (loom, peacock feathers, raffia, willow, jute, hemp, sisal)
