With a botanical-naturalistic focus, the route, in addition to the central body of the Villa (Casa Dominicale) and the Noble Park, is enriched with the Rustic Park, the Roccolo di Caccia (Birdcatcher’s reserve), the vineyards and the floodplains along the river, with their biodiversity. The Villa park is “the well-ordered countryside”, Palladio specified: a landscape “never seen before” at the time of crops, rows, windbreak hedges, bank trees, meadows and hunting groves.
